Tar Heels could climb higher for bye

North Carolina still has a shot at claiming a top-four seed for next week’s ACC Tournament, a final top-four slot that will otherwise go to Louisville. The Tar Heels are guaranteed a bye through the first day, but the so-called double-bye is only earned by four teams. “If you get it, I think it’s important,” Roy Williams said of one of the four teams with byes into the quarterfinals.
