With the recent passing of legendary basketball coach Dean Smith, we felt this was a good time to dig into the vault and look for some stories on coach Smith. This report is from the 1981 ACC Tournament in Landover, MD. Smith and his Carolina Tar Heels defeated Lefty Driesell and his Maryland Terrapins to win the championship. (WAVY)
