Woody Durham lauds coaches

Woody Durham is known as the voice of the Tar Heels, but it’s a voice that has strong ties to his high school days when he played football in Albemarle. Durham, play-by-play announcer for UNC, was the guest speaker Monday at the annual press conference for the Cumberland County Short Stop Football Jamboree. Durham said his old high school football coach, Toby Webb, made an impression on him that has stuck over 50 years.
