Pregame warmth turns feisty on the court

As much as the moment of silence to honor Dean Smith at Cameron Indoor Stadium and the Smith Center ceremony to recognize Coach K for reaching 1,000 career wins brought the two programs together, the players tried to rip each other apart as soon as the opening tip was held. The Tar Heels let a chance at an upset in Durham slip away, and the rematch was much more of a physical encounter. (Fayetteville Observer)
