Falcons Sign T.J. Yates to Extension


The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have signed quarterback to a contract extension. Yates, 6-4, 217 pounds, was originally selected by the Houston Texans in the fifth round (152nd overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Falcons in exchange for LB Akeem Dent on June 19, 2014 and appeared in one game. (Atlanta Falcons)
