Tyler Hansbrough may cast aside mask
Posted Mar 17, 2007
Tyler Hansbrough's mask could be gone as soon as tonight. He wore the fitted mask during Friday's practice and will have it with him during warmups tonight. It is his call, coach Roy Williams said, whether or not he uses it. The medical staff has told Hansbrough that it would be preferable to wear the contraption, designed to protect his nose after the now-infamous Duke incident, but he could have played without it Thursday.
