Russell Bodine third in NFL in performance-based pay

This season, another Bengals player ranked in the top five for performance-based pay. This time it was rookie center Russell Bodine who received $318,612 to lead the team and rank third in the NFL. Bodine's slotted fourth-round rookie contract paid him a base salary of $420K plus a pro-rated signing bonus of $114,114 so the performance bonus equates to a pay bump of 62.7 percent.
