It was March 24, 2013, and a teary-eyed Marcus Paige slumped into his chair in the corner of North Carolina’s locker room at Kansas City’s Sprint Center. The Tar Heels just blew a nine-point halftime lead in a 70-58 loss to Kansas, cutting their postseason short in the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
