Five-star center Diamond Stone commits to Maryland

Dominican (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) center Diamond Stone ended his recruitment Friday night announcing his commitment to Maryland via Twitter. Stone, who will suit up for the East in the McDonald’s All American game on April 1, picked the Terps over Wisconsin. Just last week he scored 23 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Dominican to its fourth straight state title. Stone, who is ranked No. 7 overall in the ESPN 100, has won two gold medals with USA Basketball.
