It's finally official: Adam Warren is the Yankees' No. 5 starter


It's been common knowledge since New York Yankees GM Brian Cashman called him the Secretariat of the No. 5 starter competition, but Joe Girardi finally made it official Wednesday: has won the fifth starting pitching job. He will start on Saturday April 11 against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. Asked for his reasoning, Girardi ran down a list of Warren's assets. (ESPN.com)
