Logan Byrd: Commit Analysis
Posted Apr 9, 2015
Logan Byrd is the third commit for North Carolina in the 2016 cycle. He joins wide receiver Kyran Bowman (Havelock, NC) and fellow Georgia native safety Jahvontay Smith (Carver/Columbus, GA) as future Tar Heels. CarolinaBlue spoke with 247Sports recruiting analyst Clint Brewster to break down Byrd as a prospect: "Listed at 6-foot-3 and 228-pounds, Byrd has a strong build and can shrug defenders off to create time for himself," Brewster explained. "He's got some impressive down-field mobility for his size."
