Logan Byrd: Commit Analysis

is the third commit for North Carolina in the 2016 cycle. He joins wide receiver Kyran Bowman (Havelock, NC) and fellow Georgia native safety Jahvontay Smith (Carver/Columbus, GA) as future Tar Heels. CarolinaBlue spoke with 247Sports recruiting analyst Clint Brewster to break down Byrd as a prospect: "Listed at 6-foot-3 and 228-pounds, Byrd has a strong build and can shrug defenders off to create time for himself," Brewster explained. "He's got some impressive down-field mobility for his size." (Carolina Blue)
