UNC Defense Shows Improvement in Spring Scrimmage

North Carolina’s football spring scrimmage Saturday at Rocky Creek High featured a surprisingly solid effort by the Tar Heels’ defense. “I felt like early on our defense was playing well,” UNC head coach Larry Fedora said. “Our guys are getting very comfortable with the base defense that the fundamentals. You can see every day guys getting rid of old, bad habits and adopting new ones.”
