QB Logan Byrd's skill set is a fit at UNC
Posted Apr 13, 2015
In what seemed to be an unexpected commitment, North Carolina picked up a verbal commitment last week from quarterback Logan Byrd (Kathleen, Ga./Veterans). If you are the Tar Heels, there’s a lot to like about the 6-foot-3, 229-pound Byrd in terms of his raw skill set and how he fits into the UNC offense. ??Byrd isn’t a burner, but is a bit of a sneaky-good run threat at the high school level. That’s good enough to make defenses respect him in the Tar Heels tempo offense down the road.
