Longtime college football analyst Lou Holtz and ESPN are parting ways, ESPN confirmed. “Lou brought a champion’s perspective and a legacy of accomplishment to our coverage along with his distinctive style and humor,” the network’s statement read. “We appreciate his contributions and wish him all the best in the future.” Holtz, who led Notre Dame to a national title during his 11-season career there among other stops in college football, went to ESPN in 2004.
