Tar Heels' Carignan Named ACC Pitcher Of The Week

North Carolina closer Andrew Carignan was named Atlantic Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week Monday after earning three straight saves in the Tar Heels' series sweep of Miami last weekend. Carignan earns conference weekly honors for the first time in his career and is the second Tar Heel to claim the ACC Pitcher of the Week award this season. (Tar Heel Blue)
