Hornets’ PJ Hairston showed shooting potential

P.J. Hairston is guaranteed about $1.2 million next season under the rookie pay scale. The Hornets have two one-season options after that. Charlotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford has said Hairston has the talent to eventually be an NBA starter. He needs to spend the summer becoming more consistent from NBA 3-point range and to get in better shape. (Charlotte Observer)
