Marcus Paige Undergoes Ankle Surgery Monday

UNC men’s basketball guard Marcus Paige underwent successful arthroscopic surgery Monday to remove bone spurs in his right ankle. Paige is expected to resume basketball activities this summer. The junior from Marion, Iowa, earned Carolina’s Most Valuable Player honors for the second consecutive year. Dr. Robert Anderson performed the surgery at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
