Monmouth assistant Brian Reese tabbed as new Georgian Court coach


's coaching tree received its first branch on Thursday. Hawks assistant coach will be named head coach at Division II Georgian Court University. Official word from the Lakewood school is expected on Monday. Reese, a former teammate of Rice at the University of North Carolina in the early 1990's, is the first Rice assistant to land a head-coaching gig. (Asbury Park Press)
