Guarded by Father Time, Vince Carter seeks first NBA title


As sat down at his locker Tuesday, he was handed two towels by Memphis teammate Kosta Koufos. “One for half-man, one for half-amazing,” Koufos joked. “Half-man, half-amazing” was one of the nicknames Carter accumulated during his early years as a high-flying human-highlight reel. Carter was so popular that he’s still one of three players in NBA history to lead the league in All-Star votes in four different seasons. (Durham Herald-Sun)
