Guarded by Father Time, Vince Carter seeks first NBA title

As Vince Carter sat down at his locker Tuesday, he was handed two towels by Memphis teammate Kosta Koufos. “One for half-man, one for half-amazing,” Koufos joked. “Half-man, half-amazing” was one of the nicknames Carter accumulated during his early years as a high-flying human-highlight reel. Carter was so popular that he’s still one of three players in NBA history to lead the league in All-Star votes in four different seasons.
