Yankees' Joe Girardi on Andrew Miller: 'He's our closer'

Andrew Miller said it hardly mattered to him what role or label he was given, and the news that New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi had officially named him closer did not come as a surprise. “They’ve been very honest with us the whole time,” Miller said. “They’ve put us in situations to succeed.” He added, “For what they’re paying me, I’ll do anything.” (New York Times)
