Posted May 15, 2015
Robbie Coman's ninth inning RBI single forced extra innings and Virginia won it in the 10th as the Cavaliers beat UNC 2-1 Thursday at Boshamer Stadium. The rally spoiled another stellar home effort from Zac Gallen, who left after 8.1 innings with a 1-0 lead. Tyler Ramirez homered for UNC's lone run on a night when the Tar Heels were 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position and 0 for 12 with men on base.
