Roy Williams comes home to join Western NC Sports Hall of Fame
Posted May 16, 2015
Roy Williams is coming home Sunday, once again to be heralded as a famous son of Western North Carolina. His induction into the WNC Hall of Fame is part of the ceremony of the 54th WNC Sports Awards Banquet at Omni Grove Park Inn. Ol' Roy has done good, from the difficult beginnings of a family held together by a strong and loving mother that didn't let an abusive, alcoholic father ruin more lives than his own.
