Jamie Loeb Lands In NCAA Singles National Title Match

Jamie Loeb of the North Carolina women’s tennis team will play for the NCAA Singles national championship after winning her semifinal match on Sunday over Miami’s Stephanie Wagner. Loeb, the No. 7 seed in the event, will face No. 2 Carol Zhao of Stanford in the finals on Monday at 1 p.m. ET. Loeb (30-5) defeated Wagner for the third time this season, winning in three sets - 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
