Butch Davis looks at life through a microscope. There is no detail too tiny for his attention. His daily planner is broken into five-minute intervals. Every statement and utterance has a purpose. So it was no surprise Friday when Davis addressed the media just two hours before the Tar Heels’ first practice session that he was structured and well-organized in delivering an overview of his goals during the coming four weeks as the Heels work toward their Aug. 30 opener against McNeese State.
