The four-stop, Nike-affiliated Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) wrapped up its regular season Monday in Minneapolis. The top five teams in each of the four divisions are assured of advancing to the Peach Jam finals from July 15-19, and a Harry Giles-led CP3 squad finished an EYBL-best 15-2. Fayetteville point guard Dennis Smith Jr., who plays primarily for Team Loaded on the adidas circuit, appeared in nine EYBL games for Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway's Team Penny, which tied for third place in its division with an 11-6 record.
