Pending extension for UNC' coach Roy Williams a response to help recruiting

On Friday, a day after UNC released a redacted version of the notice of allegations it had received from the NCAA, Inside Carolina reported that a contract extension for Roy Williams was being finalized. Many North Carolina fans, at least the ones with an appreciation for Williams' on-court success, rejoiced. Rival fan bases were indignant. (Fayetteville Observer)
