Rick Pitino receives a contract extension from Louisville through 2026

Louisville head coach Rick Pitino has agreed to a contract extension through 2026 with the university, a contract that will pay the the 62-year old coach more than $60 million dollars. Pitino’s salary will increase to $4,48 million for the 2015-16 season and then jump to $5.093 million for the remaining ten seasons.
