After visiting a string of schools -- including UNC on Saturday - and considering more than 20 offers, Nolan DeFranco picked Carolina over Virginia and Vanderbilt. The Tar Heel defensive staff projects the 6-foot-6, 225-pound standout from Winter Garden (Fla.) West Orange DeFranco to play “power” defensive end within their 4-3 defensive scheme.
