Woman Injured By Bat At Fenway Park Is Released From The Hospital

The woman who was seriously injured when she was hit by a broken bat at a Red Sox game last week has been released from the hospital. A statement from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center says Tonya Carpenter is being transferred to a rehab center and that she’s made great progress.
