Spurs’ Danny Green expected to be hot commodity

Danny Green spent his 28th birthday in quiet celebration with a handful of family members Monday in New York. At some point during the day, he was hit with an idea that seems to occur to most men of a certain age.
“I’m not getting any younger, that’s for sure,” the Spurs shooting guard said by phone. That, more than anything, is what makes what comes next for Green so exciting. And also so nerve-wracking.
