Former College Track Athletes Remember Coach Slain In Charleston

Even now, standing in the atrium of a church, their murdered friend in a casket in the sanctuary behind them, the three friends can't help but laugh. They love her, and they love to tell stories about the old days, and at the moment they are telling one about turning long runs into short runs when the coach wasn't looking, back when they were teammates on the track team at South Carolina State. But she -- Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, one of nine people killed June 17 at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston -- never took that short cut, and truth be told she chastised those who did. (ESPN.com)
