NBA champion Harrison Barnes celebrates the Fourth of July in Ames

The excitement in preparation for Ames’ Fourth of July parade was evident throughout downtown Saturday morning. A special addition to this year’s parade was the grand marshal Harrison Barnes, who coming off an NBA championship with the Golden State Warriors, returned with trophy in hand to celebrate the Fourth of July with his hometown.
