Country artist Chase Rice’s new video highlights UNC football

When Chase Rice, former football player for UNC, got hurt in his junior season, he took up guitar playing and song writing instead. And that’s how we got “Carolina Can.” Rice was raised in Asheville and was a linebacker at UNC from 2005 to 2008. And as he shows in his new video for “Carolina Can,” released Thursday, Rice has fond memories of his life in North Carolina.
