Kentucky offers scholarship to Dennis Smith Jr.

Class of 2016 point guard Dennis Smith Jr. has long-standing scholarship offers from most of the colleges he is seriously considering. There haven't been many developments in Smith's recruitment over the last year, but Kentucky coach John Calipari was responsible for one when he extended a scholarship offer Tuesday night. Entering the July evaluation period, the college programs drawing the most interest from Smith were N.C. State, Duke, UNC, Wake Forest, Kansas and Louisville.
