The Tar Heels are, for the time being, out from under the NCAA sanctions that contributed to some wildly inconsistent play during Larry Fedora's first three seasons. Poor performances to end the 2014 season had some players criticizing the team's effort. With NCAA issues still not resolved, and fans growing weary of mediocre results, year four looms as a pivotal year.
