Hornets bringing ex-Tar Heels star Tyler Hansbrough back to Carolina

The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a contract with free-agent power forward Tyler Hansbrough, a person familiar with the situation said Tuesday. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the move hasn't been announced. Hansbrough played college basketball at North Carolina. The 6-foot-9, 250-pound Hansbrough is a six-year NBA veteran.
