Fedora says Chizik hire has already impacted defense
Posted Jul 22, 2015
Larry Fedora said Tuesday at the ACC Kickoff in Pinehurst that Gene Chizik immediately created excitement among the UNC defenders upon his arrival because of his reputation. Chizik has earned two national championship rings, one as head coach at Auburn in 2010 and as defensive coordinator under for Tar Heel head coach Mack Brown at Texas in 2005. “Gene’s reputation is going to proceed him,’’ Fedora said.
