Virginia football says it has QB situation sorted after ‘hectic’ spring


In a confusing chapter of the Virginia football team’s spring practices, Coach Mike London and offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild appeared to have differing viewpoints on the starting quarterback competition. Fairchild called it “fluid” in a teleconference, while London said “it wasn’t close” in a teleconference shortly after. “The firestorm that started,” London said with a laugh at ACC Media Days on Tuesday. “I should’ve went first.” (Washington Post)
