Steve Spurrier calls impromptu press conference and goes on rant
Posted Jul 23, 2015
South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier called an impromptu news conference on Wednesday to address some topics that have bothered him recently. With it being a last-minute press conference, some people speculated that Spurrier was announcing his retirement or stepping down. Those people were sorely mistaken, as he came out firing. The Gamecocks coach was worked up over a local Columbia, S.C. paper running an article on the state of Spurrier’s program.
