With a fresh look, Dustin Ackley looks for a fresh start

With a new look for a new team, Ackley is looking for a fresh start. He was the second overall draft pick in 2009, and he’s still just 27 years old, but Ackley’s never come close to meeting the lofty expectations he set at the University of North Carolina. There, he hit .417/.517/.763 as a junior. Even as a freshman, he hit .402/.448/.591. “Extremely talented,” college teammate said. “He’s a good guy, works hard." (LoHud Yankees Blog)
