Football uniforms undergo changes at three area colleges

New lines of football jerseys were unveiled in the spring for Elon, North Carolina and Wake Forest. North Carolina is calling the new Nike uniforms a refreshing of brand identity. School officials said they were seeking consistency in the identity. It was an 18-month process that involved consulting with athletes, coaches, administrators and alumni. (Burlington Times News)
