Tar Heel coach Larry Fedora and his staff welcomed around a hundred players Monday for the first day of preseason practice. The Tar Heels will practice every morning this week beginning at 9:50 and running through noon. They’ll put pads on Thursday for the first time and hold a scrimmage Saturday morning and later sign autographs at Meet the Heels at 4 p.m. at Eddie Smith Field House. (GoHeels.com)
