South Carolina QB Connor Mitch eyeing first career start in home state

Quarterback Connor Mitch hasn’t been named the starter for South Carolina, but the scenario for a homecoming first career start is a possibility. Mitch, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, has a chance to make his first career collegiate start in his home state, against a school he grew up 30 minutes away from, and on the opposite sideline from a lot of names he grew up playing with.
