Gamecocks, Tar Heels look forward to playing on national stage

When North Carolina and South Carolina meet in Charlotte to open the college football season, both programs will look to fill in a few blanks regarding their programs. But there is one question that fans are obviously interested in. Exactly who is the better Carolina when it comes to football? The season opener, which is now less than 30 days away, will provide an opportunity for the Gamecocks and the Tar Heels to claim bragging rights in the border battle.
