Former UNC LB Quincy Monk improving, supporters say

Former UNC linebacker Quincy Monk’s battle with cancer has trended upward. He’s been too weak for chemotherapy, but that situation is changing, and he may be able to start those treatments early this week, according to Kory Bailey, Monk’s former UNC teammate. After bouncing back from a stroke in June, Monk was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma, an aggressive form of cancer.
