Tar Heels working out kinks for kickers

At the beginning of the month, North Carolina coach Larry Fedora either was playing fox or genuinely had absolutely no idea who’d kick fields goals for the Tar Heels this season. “I know that we have fewer days to make a decision,” Fedora said. Days later, with UNC’s season opener against South Carolina creeping closer, Fedora had a better idea about when he’d know who'd get the nod when the Tar Heels need three points in a pinch — sort of.
