'Silent' Switzer letting his game speak

Protein bars and energy drinks weren’t cutting it for North Carolina’s Ryan Switzer. So the versatile athlete started taking another supplement. “Eating his humble pie, man,” UNC wide receiver Bug Howard said. This time last year, Switzer figured he’d keep the Heisman Trophy in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Florida State’s Jameis Winston won it in 2013. Switzer claimed he had next, even asking fans to support his campaign.
