UNC in good hands with ‘The Freaks’

UNC coach Larry Fedora will unleash The Freaks - that's what the Tar Heels wide receivers call themselves - for the first time this year during the Sept. 3 season opener against South Carolina. He very well might send five of them to the field at the same time. “It’s called Empty,” said UNC wide receiver Bug Howard, talking about a particular offensive formation.
