UNC's Elijah Hood finds comfort zone

Most football players who have their season interrupted by injury recall the time away with frustration. But UNC running back Elijah Hood believes the knee sprain that limited his freshman year was helpful. "I think in the long run I might have benefited from it,'' said Hood, who arrived in Chapel Hill last fall as one of the most heralded players in UNC's freshman class. (Fayetteville Observer)
