Defense bears watching, but consistent offense key to UNC’s chance in opener

After a change of defensive scheme and the hiring of a high-profile new coordinator, not even those associated with UNC know exactly what to expect for the first time out. “We’ve been running this new defense against our offense and we’re excited to go out, play it against somebody else and see how we’re doing,” senior linebacker Shakeel Rashad said.
